Migration to Asia Peace (MAP) is
a non-profit organization founded in 2015 to raise awareness about the issue of involuntary migration in the Asian region and to advocate for concrete solutions at the grass-roots level. All of MAP’s activities are aimed at healing and restoring the lives of individuals, families, and communities that were destroyed or otherwise harmed by involuntary migration. We shall strive to promote respect for diversity and mutual understanding, thereby making involuntary migration in Asia less conflict-inducing and more peaceful.
We envision a world where all individuals can dream and freely decide their future in safety and dignity.
We work to empower involuntary migrants (e.g., refugees, internally displaced people, victims of human trafficking, etc.) to realize their dreams in South Korea and various other host countries in Asia.
We firmly believe that empowering involuntary migrants not only benefits them individually but also contributes to the positive social development of their home countries and their host countries in Asia, South Korea included.
