The purpose of this scholarship, which is managed by Migration to Asia Peace(MAP), is to support refugee youths in need of higher education or vocational education to realize their vision and improve vulnerable conditions by providing scholarships donated by ‘Home of Good Samaritan’.
- Project and Support Period
◾Project Period: February 2022 – December 2023
◾Support Period: October 2023 – December 2023
- Persons of Concern
◾Higher education: Refugee youth aged 18 to 39 years old
◾Vocational education: Refugee adolescent and youth aged 14 to 39 years old
- Selection Process
◾1st: Document Examining (Through Google Form)
Self-introduction essay, Resume, Vision plan, Scholarship using plan
◾2nd: Individual Interview
* Good Samaritan Scholarship: Voluntary activism is mandatory once a week.

- Support Content
◾Personalized Support
◾Support up to 2.5 million won for 3 months
* Support for counseling and consulting, look for information on higher education/vocational education in South Korea
* Support for confirming qualification procedures
* Link volunteer opportunities, Link internship opportunities to applicants who dream of becoming activist of NGO
* Support for educational expenses (e.g. language course, examinations) to hold qualification for higher education, Support for vocational education expenses
* (If need be)Shelter and Mental health counseling support
* Monthly motivation counseling
* Workshop for writing application and resume
