Hello, this is Refugee News from MAP.
June 20 is World Refugee Day. The United Nations designated this special day in 2000 to protect refugees around the world and to draw attention to their hardships. First, an event will be held where refugees share their experiences in Korea and call on the new government to improve refugee policy. Second, a discussion will take place on the settlement locations and social integration of resettled refugees in Korea. Finally, a meeting will be held in the hope that the technical skills refugees have can be put to use through a skilled refugee pathway. Let us join this meaningful gathering to share the voices and stories of refugees together!
