Hello, this is MAP’s refugee news!
We invite refugees to take part in a special art project at the PODO Museum in Seogwipo, Jeju Island.
In this project, you will create a glass artwork by blowing your breath into glass.
Each person will blow their breath into glass to create a unique piece of their own. These individual glass pieces will be assembled with light to form a single, glowing collective artwork. Through glass – a transparent medium – this project connects each participant’s breath, waiting for your hands and your story to complete it.
- The glass will be made at a studio in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
- The final exhibition will be shown at the PODO Museum in Seogwipo, Jeju Island.
- Photos and videos of the exhibition will be shared with all participants.
This is not just an art exhibition. It is a chance to turn your breath and your story into a work of art. Your breath will stay inside the glass as a memory, a message, and quiet healing for others.
