Newsletter: Displaced

It delivers news on refugees and involuntary migration at home and abroad, research and cultural life by email, and past issues are posted in the Stibee archive and on the MAP Naver blog.

On hold 2021~

Background

Forced displacement is one of the greatest humanitarian challenges the world faces today, but there are few channels through which news about it can be followed steadily in Korean. Refugee stories in international news feel distant, and news about refugees in Korea is covered only briefly when an incident occurs.

Many citizens are interested in refugee issues but do not know where to start reading, and even activists and researchers spend much time gathering scattered news.

MAP activists select news, research and culture on refugees and involuntary migration at home and abroad from a refugee human rights perspective and deliver it to inboxes every two weeks. DISPLACED is Korea's first newsletter specializing in refugee issues.
