Human Rights, Refugee stories, and RN promotion

Bank account series

Refugee applicants living in Korea find it difficult to open bank accounts. We will compile several cases of difficulties into a series. We want to help refugees who may experience similar situations understand the overall flow and cope with it. We are starting with the Iran case, which will be our next news! Stay tuned!

Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)

After Bank account news is all published, we will publish news regarding sexual consent, sexual harassment, and school violence starting in June. We will deal with issues such as definition, criteria for determining, examples, and prevention strategies.

We’re planning to interview refugees and publish stories covering various topics, experiences, and tips for living in Korea. This project may include stories from other sectors in MAP, such as ‘dialogue with refugees,’ to extract diverse perspectives and insights.

Starting from this news you are reading right now, we will introduce our news categories and important past news one by one. Once a week, you will have the opportunity to go through past news that you have missed.

If you have any experiences, difficulties, or inquiries regarding bank accounts or sexual and gender-based violence, please let us know. We can offer you more helpful news covering your request.

For those who want to participate as an interviewee in ‘refugee story’, you can also leave a short message with your contact.
