★ What is <Dialogue with Refugees>?

<Dialogue with Refugees> is an NGO project of ‘Migration to Asia Peace(MAP)’ where citizen and refugee participants, who remain strangers to each other even while living in the same space and time, get to meet directly and communicate. We talk about various stories such as how ordinary people became refugees, their experiences of meeting strangers as their neighbors, and their struggles for a better life in Korea. We can overcome the language barrier through nonverbal communications such as eye contact, gestures, and with the help of translators. We also share and enjoy a variety of tea and snacks.

★ We welcome everyone, and we especially look forward to celebrating the 76th Human Rights Day with people:

🎄who want to hear stories directly from (other) refugees.
🎄who want to talk about current human rights issues with refugees/Korean citizens.
🎄who are interested in migrant/refugee issues.
🎄who want to share their stories of living in Korea to refugees.
🎄who want to share about their efforts they made in 2024 for the dignity of myself, our neighbors, or for peace in the world
