Hello. This is Migration to Asia Peace (MAP).
To promote a transparent refugee policy, the Ministry of Justice distributed a press release on the status of refugees on February 3.
However, the Ministry’s explanation of that material has been found to foster the misperception that refugees are abusing the asylum application system, and to be used as a means of inciting hatred.
In response, the Korea Refugee Rights Network and the Rainbow Refugee Network, with which MAP stands in solidarity, issued a statement condemning this.
