Hello! This is Migration to Asia Peace (MAP)!

MAP LETTER, which we send every month with MAP’s activities and stories.
Last March, MAP continued many activities through new encounters and in a variety of settings. In this newsletter, we bring you stories from those settings
What happened at MAP last March?
💌 First news: MAP held its 3rd Regular General Meeting! 💌

✅ On March 28, MAP held its 3rd Regular General Meeting online and offline.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in spirit, online and offline, despite busy schedules.
2025 audit report, approval of projects and settlement of accounts
・It was reported that the execution of projects and the accounting throughout 2025 had been carried out appropriately. ・Most projects in 2025 were achieved beyond their targets. ・The largest shares of expenditure were mental health support, childcare expenses for children, and child-rearing expenses, in that order.
MAP will continue to communicate and engage steadily as an organization built together with its members!
💌 Second news: MAP met its 2026 first-half volunteers! 💌

✅ MAP met its new volunteers!🌱
On March 7, MAP held an orientation to meet its 2026 first-half volunteers.
Over the next 3 months, the volunteers will begin various activities at MAP in teams such as the Humanitarian Support Team, the Dialogue with Refugees Team, the Communication Team, and the Refugee Youth Empowerment Scholarship Team.
The volunteers got to know one another and shared the direction MAP pursues through a CORE VALUE leadership dialogue.
Each volunteer plans to put these values into practice in their own way, in their own place.
Please keep watching with interest!
💌 Third news: Support that reaches children’s daily lives, we continue the refugee children support project! 💌

✅ MAP identifies refugee children who cannot receive childcare costs or child-rearing allowances for infants and toddlers,
and, in cooperation with Save the Children Korea, Good Samaritan’s House, and individual supporters, continues to accompany refugee children’s families!
In March, we surveyed more than 30 applicant families, and began accompanying 10 of them.
We will support childcare costs for six families with children under the age of 7, and together build a stable child-rearing environment through regular monitoring and home visits. We will support child-rearing costs for four children aged 18 months or younger.
MAP will accompany the supported children toward lively and healthy lives!
💌 Fourth news: Finding a warm home filled with hope for families in a housing crisis 💌

✅ MAP is improving the living conditions of refugee families in a housing crisis!
After a month of effort together with Habitat for Humanity Korea, a local religious community, and village residents, MAP found a home for a refugee family in a housing crisis.🏠
MAP plans to continue accompanying the family toward stable daily life and self-reliance.
We hope the smiles that have begun to bloom on the faces of the family of five never fade

Please show your interest and support for the April MAP LETTER that will keep being uploaded! 🌸
We hope you have an energetic April, when warm spring is in full bloom!🌷
Thank you!
