Migration to Asia Peace (MAP) introduces <Dialogue with Refugees – Tea Talk>, which starts in April 2023!
<Dialogue with Refugees – Tea Talk> is a project in which citizens and refugees, who share the same time and space yet remain strangers to one another, meet and communicate directly. We will talk about the stories of ordinary people who became refugees, the experience of meeting a stranger from abroad as a neighbor, and our struggles for a better life in Korea. Language differences can be overcome with eye contact, gestures and the help of an interpreter. We will also share tea and sweet snacks.

Migration to Asia Peace (MAP) is a nonprofit organization established in 2015.
🚩We support the restoration of the lives and dignity of refugees in Korea,
🚩we call for the attention and action of our contemporaries on involuntary migration issues such as today’s refugees, internally displaced persons and human trafficking,
🚩and we work to create a space for dialogue in which refugees and local residents take part, so that involuntary migration leads to peace and growth for everyone in the place of settlement rather than to further conflict.
